The Mitsubishi Electric Zuba is made in Canada providing high heating performance through its efficient and exclusive Hyper-Heat Inverter (H2i™) technology. This unit is made for Canadian weather and provides people with whole home, year-round comfort. The Zuba has many advancements from energy saving features such as the VCSI technology to outstanding performance features provided by the H2i technology.
The Mitsubishi Electric Electric Zuba is a cold climate heat pump system that uses a refrigerant to transfer heat energy between indoor and outdoor environments. For example, when the temperature rises indoors the heat pump works like an air conditioner and when the temperature drops indoors the mechanism is reversed and the system works like a heater. During the winter when the unit is in heating mode the refrigerant absorbs the heat from the outside air and uses it to warm up the inside of your home.

The Zuba provides high heating performance even under extreme low winter temperatures because of its H2i technology. It has a unique defrost mechanism and provides continuous heating for an extended period between defrost cycles, which minimizes defrost time required.
Zuba will warm your home even during extreme temperatures as low as -30* and continues to perform at 100% of its capacity at -15 degrees celsius. It also provides a unique hot-start technology providing warmth from the second it is turned on, reducing draft. The Zuba installs easily into ductwork and is ranked one of the most energy-efficient system to heat your home. This system is also very easy to maintain it has easily accessible filters and wiring at installation with built-in auxiliary heater control.
The advanced technology on this unit ensures super-quiet performance. The Zuba outdoor unit is offered in a sleek design measuring 13 inches deep perfect to place alongside your exterior wall, taking up less space. The system uses ozone-friendly R-410A refrigerant, which benefits the environment and provides better performance.
The new Zuba multi system is offered as well allowing each room to have its own operated remote control so everyone in your home can enjoy their preferred temperature. Only a single line set is needed for the outdoor unit to branch the box for the multi-system.

WARRANTY
The Zuba systems are backed by a standard warranty of five years for parts and seven years for the compressor. An extended 10-year warranty on the parts and compressor is provided to customers. The installation must be performed by a Mitsubishi Electric-authorized HVAC technician.
