Effective duct cleaning requires access to the HVAC air-distribution system, not simply vacuuming the openings you can see from the room. The appropriate scope depends on the system layout, access and condition.
For qualifying systems, our process addresses the supply and return duct systems and accessible HVAC components associated with the cleaning scope.

THE PROCESS

1. Inspect & Prepare
We review the system layout, access points, equipment configuration and site conditions before cleaning begins.
2. Establish Negative Pressure
Appropriate negative-air equipment is connected so loosened debris is captured rather than released back into the occupied space.
3. Agitate the Duct System
Air whips, brushes or other appropriate agitation tools are used to dislodge debris from accessible duct surfaces while the system remains under negative pressure.

Residential air duct cleaning starts at $389 + HST per furnace.
The current residential package includes up to 16 supply and return vents. Additional vents and special access conditions are priced separately where applicable.

RELATED SYSTEM ISSUES
Cleaning does not correct every duct-system problem.
If we identify disconnected ducts, leakage, restrictive ductwork, poor airflow, damaged flex duct, inadequate returns or other mechanical deficiencies, those conditions may require a separate repair, HVAC consultation or duct-sealing scope.

Cleaning cannot correct undersized ductwork, excessive static pressure or poor system design.
Indoor Air Quality

Yes. Appropriate negative-air equipment is used as part of the cleaning process while accessible duct surfaces are mechanically agitated.
Do you clean both supply and return ducts?
Yes. The intended cleaning scope addresses both supply and return sides of the HVAC air-distribution system where accessible and applicable to the system configuration.
Do you use air whips or brushes?
Yes. Mechanical agitation may include air whips, brushes and other tools selected according to the duct material, access and system condition.
Will my new furnace be unnecessarily disassembled?
No. The cleaning approach should be appropriate to the actual system and scope. If accessible HVAC components require separate cleaning or service, that is evaluated according to condition and access.
Do you provide before-and-after photos?
Where practical, DAVESDUCTS documents accessible areas before and after cleaning and can identify visible deficiencies found during the work.
Is air duct cleaning the same as HVAC maintenance?
No. Duct cleaning addresses contamination in the air-distribution system. Furnace, air-conditioner, heat-pump and other equipment maintenance are separate services.
