HOW DAVESDUCTS USES AEROSEAL
We do more than connect the machine.
DAVESDUCTS combines inspection, duct-leakage testing, accessible manual repairs, controlled Aeroseal sealing and post-seal verification. Aeroseal is one part of a complete duct-sealing workflow.
01 • INSPECT
Find the physical problems first.
We look for accessible disconnections, damaged ductwork, blockages and major leakage points that should be repaired before Aeroseal.
02 • SEAL
Address hidden qualifying leakage.
Once the duct system is prepared, Aeroseal can address qualifying leakage that may be difficult or impractical to reach manually.
03 • VERIFY
Measure the result.
Pre-seal and post-seal testing provides a measurable comparison of duct leakage before and after the sealing work.
IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS
What the videos do not always show.
Aeroseal is effective for qualifying duct leakage, but it does not replace proper duct design or physical repairs.
Aeroseal can help with
- Small leaks at seams and joints
- Distributed leakage in otherwise intact ducts
- Hidden leakage behind finished surfaces
- Air loss that is difficult to reach manually
Aeroseal does not fix
- Disconnected duct sections
- Blocked or crushed ductwork
- Major physical damage
- Large openings beyond sealing capability
- Improper duct sizing or system design
- HVAC equipment problems
DAVESDUCTS PROCESS
Accessible major defects are repaired before Aeroseal.
Gaps larger than approximately 5/8 inch, disconnected ductwork and major physical defects require manual repair rather than aerosol sealing.
