WHAT’S INCLUDED
More than an aerosol-sealing appointment.

Pre-Seal Pressure Test
Measure and document the baseline duct leakage before sealing.
02
Whole-System Inspection
Inspect accessible ductwork, including applicable attic and crawlspace areas, and evaluate supply and return conditions.
03
Deficiency Diagnosis
Identify major leaks, disconnections, blockages and physical defects that require conventional repair.
04
Accessible Manual Sealing
Seal accessible qualifying joints and connections with appropriate manual methods such as mastic and metal tape.
05
Aeroseal Procedure
Isolate connected equipment, prepare the system and perform the Aeroseal duct-sealing procedure.
06
Post-Seal Verification
Measure the duct system again and provide the applicable leakage report and certificate.

WHAT AEROSEAL DOES — AND DOESN’T DO
Duct leakage and physical duct defects require different solutions.
Aeroseal is designed for
- Qualifying leakage at duct seams and joints
- Small openings throughout the duct system
- Difficult-to-access leakage
- Residual leakage after appropriate physical repairs
- Measured before-and-after duct sealing
Aeroseal does not repair
- Disconnected, blocked or crushed ducts
- Major physical openings
- Gaps larger than approximately 5/8 inch
- Undersized or poorly designed ductwork
- Furnace, heat-pump or air-conditioner problems
IMPORTANT
Major deficiencies must be physically repaired.
If testing or inspection identifies disconnections, blockages, large openings or another major physical problem, corrective work may be required before Aeroseal can be completed properly.

AEROSEAL PRICING FAQ
Common questions before booking.
How much does residential Aeroseal duct sealing cost?
$2,399 + HST for up to 16 supply vents. Additional supply vents are $49 each.
What is included?
Pre-seal testing and reporting, duct inspection, deficiency diagnosis, accessible manual sealing where appropriate, Aeroseal materials and labour, post-seal reporting and certificate, and a 10-year limited warranty.
Can Aeroseal fix disconnected ducts?
No. Disconnected, blocked, crushed or badly damaged ductwork requires physical repair.
How large a gap can Aeroseal seal?
DAVESDUCTS identifies approximately 5/8 inch as the upper limit for a qualifying opening. Larger defects require manual repair.
How do I know it worked?
The duct system is pressure tested before and after sealing so the measured reduction can be documented.
Does Aeroseal fix hot and cold rooms?
It can help when leakage contributes to poor distribution, but undersized ductwork, inadequate returns, restrictions, blockages or equipment problems may require separate corrective work.
Do larger or multi-furnace homes cost more?
Homes over approximately 4,000 square feet, multiple-system homes and other complex properties require individual pricing.
